Speaking

In addition to his work as a clergyman in the Church of England and as a writer, Michael Ward often gives talks and lectures to schools, colleges, universities, churches, and literary societies.  He has spoken all round the world on Planet Narnia, C.S. Lewis, The Inklings, and theological imagination.

So far this year, he has taught a five-week course on apologetics for the University of Oxford's Department for Continuing Education; lectured at Peterborough Cathedral; given a seven-part lecture series for Abilene Christian University in Oxford; addressed the School Chaplains' Annual Conference in Oxford; and delivered a public lecture at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.

Here are some of his scheduled speaking engagements for the rest of 2009:

A week-long course on Lewis's Theological Imagination (July 2009) at Regent College, Vancouver: click here for details.

Public lecture for the Kindlings Fest on Orcas Island, Washington State (23rd July).

On August 8th he will be speaking at the G.K. Chesterton Conference in Seattle.  More.
