Michael Ward
Michael Ward is Senior Research Fellow at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford, Professor of Apologetics at HBU, and a writer and speaker.
He is the author of Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of C.S. Lewis (Oxford University Press) and co-editor of The Cambridge Companion to C.S. Lewis (Cambridge University Press). He presented the BBC television documentary, The Narnia Code, directed by BAFTA-winning film-maker, Norman Stone.
On the fiftieth anniversary of Lewis's death (22nd November 2013), Dr Ward unveiled a permanent national memorial to him in Poets' Corner, Westminster Abbey.
Michael studied English at Oxford, Theology at Cambridge, and has a PhD from St Andrews. Between 1996 and 1999 he was Warden of The Kilns, Lewis's Oxford home.
